I don't know, I think it's kind of weird. Doesn't Jesus breaking the cross go completely against what he was on it for? Dying was the ultimate strong man thing for him to do. But maybe that's what the artist is saying.
I once used picture of Jesus with a superman shirt on for a talk at youth group and got a complaint from a parent.
Jesus totally could have done this, but He didn't. Maybe that's the point.
